These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and triday for using the app. We’ve written them as plainly as we can. By downloading or using triday, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
triday (“the app”) is provided by Triday (“we”, “us”), of India. By installing or using the app you confirm you are old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and you accept these Terms together with our Privacy Policy.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use triday on Apple-branded devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial reflection. You may not copy, resell, rent, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source of the app except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
You own everything you write. Your entries are yours, full stop. We claim no ownership and no license over your writing, and (as described in the Privacy Policy) we do not receive or store it. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; enabling iCloud sync is one way to do that.
triday is a private diary, so there is little to police. Still, you agree not to use the app to break the law, to infringe others’ rights, or to interfere with the app’s security or operation. That’s it.
The core diary (one entry of three lines each day) is free. Optional extras (such as drawing your own marks, additional papers, locking your days, iCloud sync, “on this day,” and export) may be offered as a one-time purchase or an auto-renewing subscription. Prices are shown in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
If you choose an auto-renewing subscription, the following standard terms apply, as required by the App Store:
The one-time purchase is a single payment that does not renew. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies; please contact Apple Support for refund requests.
You obtain triday through the App Store, so Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies to your use of the app, and these Terms incorporate it. Where these Terms conflict with Apple’s standard EULA, the EULA governs to the extent of the conflict. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms entitled to enforce them.
triday is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t promise the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. triday supports reflection; it is not medical, psychological, or professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Because your entries live on your device, keeping backups is your responsibility. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using triday at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end the license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, warranty disclaimers, and liability limits) continue to apply after termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of India, unless mandatory local consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the effective date above. If you keep using triday after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
